They’ve become firm favourites with Gogglebox fans for their loving relationship and entertaining bickering since joining the show in 2015.
But Giles Wood and Mary Killen look unrecognisable in throwback snaps from nearly 40 years ago when Mary was a model, with some fans even comparing Giles to ‘Hugh Grant crossed with Tom Cruise‘.
In the black and white pictures, taken around 1986, the couple, who refer to each other as Nutty, are seen looking adoringly at one another.

In one image, Mary can be seen staring at the lens while Giles gazes off into the distance as they stand arm-in-arm.
In another, they hug one another as Mary looks up at her partner who she met when they were both aged 21 when Giles was studying at Wimbledon School of Art.
Sharing the snaps on Instagram, Giles wrote: ‘Throwback shots, Giles and Mary, circa 1986.’

Delighted by the photos, many of the couple’s fans took to the comments of Giles’ post, with one writing: ‘Beautiful pictures ….. pure love in Mary’s eyes as she looks at Giles.’
Another person commented: ‘Thought that’s was David Bowie for a moment @giles__wood.’
‘Mary looks no different,’ wrote someone else in a complimentary message.
