Teenage pregnancies were, are, and will be common, and we get the impression that it happens more and more every year. Today, the sight of a schoolgirl expecting a child no longer shocks anyone. Of course, this is not a completely normal and good situation, because it is always better to delay motherhood for a little longer, but this is no reason to stigmatize pregnant teenagers. Their situation is hard enough without it.
Sometimes even extremely heavy, as in the case of this girl from Argentina. Pamela Villaruelle is only 17 years old and already a mother – not of one or two but of seven children. An underage girl is the head of a large and unfortunately broken family. The fathers of children do not feel responsible and leave it alone.
Despite everything, the teenager tries to do everything to ensure a dignified existence for her seven children.
Pamela gave birth to her first child when she was only 14 years old. The classic mishap of an irresponsible girl with an equally irresponsible boyfriend was that he decided to leave shortly after the birth of their daughter.
Unfortunately, the young Argentine did not stop there. She was still looking for love and did not shy away from the company of the opposite sex. Another relationship resulted in another pregnancy. Pamela gave birth to triplets, but their father also ended up leaving their lives.
After the first triplets, she asked for a ᴛᴜʙᴀʟ ʟɪɢᴀᴛɪᴏɴ – sᴜʀɢᴇʀʏ to cut her tubes. However, under Argentine law, Pamela could only do so when she turned 21. As you can guess, she found her next partner, and this time she got pregnant. And how – again, a triplet! Again, the young woman was left alone with the newborns because he too decided to disappear.
The girl, of course, is not able to take care of and support such a large family on her own. the more so that she cannot count on the support of any of her ex-boyfriends. Her parents help her a lot, and they do everything to ensure that their grandchildren (six girls and one boy) do not run out of anything. The local authorities gave them a larger house.
Pamela works hard to support her children and not be completely dependent on her parents, so she doesn’t take a vacation. It is not fully known what the legal situation of the fathers of her children looks like. There is little indication that they pay child support for their children.
“Every day is a struggle, but I wouldn’t change a thing. They are my little miracles. It’s exhausting, but more importantly, all my kids are happy and healthy. I will be the best mother I can be,” said the mother of six girls and a boy.
