It comes with more power than the C7 Chevy Corvette ZR-1 and looks awesome with some of the custom parts and design details that this video covers.
The C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is still an awesome machine despite the C8 Corvette Stingray and Z06 being at the center of the Corvette buzz these days, and as we’ll see in this video, the Callaway is a great custom version of the ‘Vette.
This video comes courtesy of Front Seat Driver’s YouTube channel and essentially features an up-close-and-personal walkaround of a very special C7 Chevrolet Callaway Corvette, owned by his friend ‘T’.
There are some tasteful mods, a powerful engine and some other cool touches that highlight how the C7’s design was – and still is – so sharp and refined.
This Callaway Corvette C7 Is A Great American Performance Car
Jason, the host of the video says that T’s 2019 C7 Chevrolet Callaway Corvette Z06 – to give its full name – is back with a few changes.
It’s a white car with a black front splitter, black carbon fiber roof and hood, and a black spoiler and side skirts. The car features a set of polished chrome wheels that work well with the Callaway badges, also in chrome.
Red accents are new which are subtle and follow some of the edges of the front bumper, hood and other areas of the car.
Also up back there’s a pair diffusers with white accents; it looks like the car has had some thoughtful touches that accentuate the Z06s design along with Callaway’s own touches.
The front splitter is new, an ACS ZR-1 splitter, which is bigger than before, which along with the rear diffusers, makes T’s C7 Corvette look aggressive.

Via: YouTube via Front Seat DriverInside this C7 there is a red interior and quilted black and red leather floor mats, and in the trunk we get to see the piece de resistance for the owner – a 2500-watt sound system.
He says that some people only want to hear the V8 engine in their sports car, but he likes to hear music to enjoy some therapy time to de-stress while driving the Corvette.
The Callaway Z06 uses a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 for an official 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds, and a ¼-mile time of 10.5 seconds at just over 130 mph. It makes 107 hp more than the Corvette Z06 and 2 hp more than the ZR-1.
Callaway makes more changes than on just the engine, with upgraded cars getting new door sills, engine cover, key fobs, floor mats, high-flow intake system, badges, and much more.
The end of the video features a selection of Corvettes that the group of drivers present in the video will take for a cruise, including a C6 and C7 Corvette Grand Sport and a C8 Stingray.
Prices for C7 Callaway Corvettes vary but Classic.com lists a 2019 model that sold for $78,000 in 2021 and Bring A Trailer has a few that sold from $60,000 to $100,000 over the last few years.
