With the Elbaf arc of One Piece looming in the future, here’s what fans of the series can likely expect to see.
The Egghead Island arc is the first arc in the much-hyped final saga of One Piece. The information disclosed in the Egghead Island arc has changed the outlook of many people about certain characters. The arc is heading toward its conclusion, and it may not be long before the fans get a chance to see Elbaf, one of the most hyped places in the One Piece world.
The name Elbaf has popped up multiple times in the manga, and given the current situation, it makes sense that the Straw Hats will head to the land of giants sooner rather than later. While the Elbaf arc may be a bit far away, here are some things fans can expect from it.
6. The Final Road Poneglyph’s Location
Every pirate in One Piece aspires to emulate the achievements of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. He traveled to the final island and found the legendary treasure. However, to be able to reach Laugh Tale, one needs to find all the Road Poneglyphs. So far, the location of only three Road Poneglyphs has been disclosed, but there is a strong chance that the final Road Poneglyph may be in Elbaf.
Before it mysteriously disappeared, the Road Poneglyph was on Fish-Man Island. Considering the fact that Poneglyphs are impossible for ordinary people to move, it would make sense if some giants took the fourth Road Poneglyph away from Neptune’s kingdom and placed it in Elbaf.
5. The Power of Loki
There are many characters in One Piece whose powers have been kept a mystery by Oda. One such character is Loki, the prince of Elbaf. Loki was supposed to marry Lola, but she ran away before the marriage. According to Big Mom, Lola’s mistake cost her a chance to dominate the world, which makes sense considering giants are stronger than any other race in the series.
Loki is the prince of the giants, and it is safe to say that he should be a powerful warrior. While he is younger than other giants, he is highly respected throughout Elbaf. Once the Straw Hats reach Elbaf, they will likely meet Loki and witness his power.
4. Usopp’s Power Up
It has been established that Usopp is among the weakest members of the crew. When he was first introduced in the series, Usopp did not wield any flashy weapons, nor did he have a strong physical presence. With time, Usopp improved his sniping skills, and he even awakened Kenbunshoku Haki.
Usopp was out of his depth in the Wano Country arc, and he was unable to beat any notable member of the Beasts Pirates in a 1v1. It seems improbable that Usopp will get a power-up in the Egghead Island arc, but he might get one in the Elbaf arc. Usopp dreams of becoming a strong warrior, and what better place to achieve the dream than the country that is home to the bravest warriors?
3. Reunion Between Robin and Saul
Nico Robin has a tragic past filled with various kinds of traumatic experiences. When she was still a kid, Ohara was destroyed by the World Government. Robin only survived due to Saul’s efforts, and she always remembered his words of encouragement.
Saul was presumed to have died in the Buster Call, but in the Egghead Island arc, it was confirmed by Vegapunk that the giant had survived. Vegapunk also stated that Saul had moved to Elbaf. When Robin heard the news about Saul’s survival, she was overcome with emotions. Considering her rough past, it would be a great moment for Robin if she met Saul in Elbaf.
2. The Kid Pirates vs The Red Hair Pirates
In the manga, the Kid Pirates were seen outside of Elbaf. This event took place recently in the manga, and many fans assumed that Kid would land in Elbaf without any problem. But things have changed drastically ever since it was revealed that Shanks is also in Elbaf. Eustass Kid wants to become the Pirate King, and that was his motive for going to Elbaf.
Kid has a reputation for being a ruthless individual, and he has fought Shanks and his crew in the past, although it ended in disaster for the Supernova. Kid has definitely improved since their last encounter, so it would be foolish to assume that Shanks will secure an easy victory. While it seems that the fight will take place during the Egghead Island arc, it is plausible to assume that Oda will reveal the result during the Elbaf arc.
1. True History Of The World
One Piece is known for its world-building, and with every passing arc, Oda has made things bigger and better. Oda has brought up many historic events in the manga, and they go back centuries. It is a well-known fact that the World Government has tried to keep the truth hidden from the common populace.
So, it is obvious that these secrets are incredibly important to the story, and once they are out in the open, everything will change. However, the only way of acquiring this knowledge is by reading the Poneglyphs. The scholars of Ohara found out the truth, which is why they were killed, but they managed to save their books. Saul enlisted the help of some giants to save the books and transport them to Elbaf. Since the Straw Hats are very likely to visit Elbaf, it might be the place where Robin uncovers the truth by going through the books.
