The smell of decades of use of the fireplace and hand-hewn timbers make this old log cabin a unique place to relax. The log cabin is secluded and peaceful. Setting back in the garden, you will have a great quiet and private stay to relax and spend time with your loved ones. You will park along the gravel driveway. The log cabin is another 100 feet into the vacation property. You will have full access to Tramy Gardens. The log cabin is located behind Wanderer’s Rest and is private property. You are welcome to explore the pathways behind Wanderer’s Rest, but that structure is off-limits and not owned by Tramy Gardens.
This is a wooded garden setting with water features. Mosquitos and poison ivy and the potential for other critters such as deer, rabbits, snakes, and more are all possible. Wild fruit, berries, and mushrooms grow on the vacation property as well and the owners strongly discourage eating anything you are not 100 percent sure about. Some plants and berries on the property are hazardous. The log cabin is a restoration and renovation project still in the works. At over 200 years old, the owners ask that you treat Wanderer’s Rest gently.

The sounds and scent of country living surround this log cabin and yet you are just a short walk to Main Street. The log cabin is set several hundred feet back from E. Front Street. However, from Front Street, you are a few minutes walk from CVS pharmacy, diners and cafes, and antique shops. You are a 5-minute drive from two Food Lions, area churches, fast food, and another dining. It is about 12 min drive to Raven rock state park.

With many different hiking, walking, and bike trails there is plenty to see and do.
