The 95th Academy Awards saw an appearance by the who’s who of the Hollywood industry. WWE’s very own Dwayne Johnson was also a part of the ceremonies as he presented an award during the grand night. Apart from this The Brahma Bull also had a chat with some media outlets on the Red Carpet before crashing the interview of fellow Hollywood star Jessica Chastain.
Chastain was caught by surprise as The Rock accompanied by one of his best friends Emily Blunt and another star actress Nicole Kidman joined her as she was talking to the media. Not only this the Eyes of Tammy Faye actress also dropped some interesting news regarding the on-screen future of DJ and Emily Blunt.
As is the case most of the time, the Oscars are a night filled with big news and drama. This time around it was the turn of Chastain to possibly hint at something big in the near future regarding Dwayne Johnson, Blunt, and Kidman.
As Chastain was talking to the media on the Oscars 2023 red carpet, Blunt came up with a hug from behind to the actress while The Rock also appeared on the scene.
After correctly guessing that it was her friend she explained that she knows Blunt quite well but isn’t that familiar with The Rock personally. Soon after Nicole Kidman walked by and Chastain asked her to join them. As the four of them stood together, Chastain made an announcement to the cameras.
She said, “I would like to announce the four of us are going to do a movie very soon. It’s being written right now. I don’t know what it is” This prompted giggles from the rest of the stars suggesting that the actress may have been having some light-hearted fun and was joking or perhaps who knows we could see all of four of them in an entertaining flick together.
Many fans have craved a return of the pair of DJ and Blunt to the big screen after their exciting team in 2021’s adventure comedy Jungle Cruise. The two actors had fun during their last time together on a movie and had great chemistry both on and off the screen as evidenced by their many hilarious interviews, one of which included The Rock calling Blunt “Mommy” because of her parently actions on the sets of Jungle Cruise.
There have been reports of a sequel to their hit movie but nothing has been made official yet.
Chastain’s comments about them getting together to star in a movie may be slightly on the funnier side, but fans will hope there is some truth in there as well.
