Arch KRGT-1 is in fact not a strange name in the world of motorcycles. The concept version of the Arch KRGT-1 was first announced in 2012. By 2015, this model was launched on the market for up to 78,000 USD.
The model that Arch Motorcycles launched at this year’s EICMA exhibition is actually the 2nd generation of KRGT-1. In the 2018 version, the Arch KRGT-1 has been improved in the body and also equipped with hardware such as Ohlins FGRT forks, Arch shock absorbers, upgraded brakes and ABS anti-lock braking system.
The engine of the Arch KRGT-1 is a V-Twin, 2,032 cc capacity, housed in a steel frame with an aluminum subframe. Arch Motorcycles describes the 2018 KRGT-1 as ” a high-performance, made-to-order cruiser that delivers powerful performance while remaining comfortable on the long haul “.
In addition, Arch KRGT-1 is also equipped with 5-spoke carbon fiber rims manufactured by BST. If desired, customers can replace other types of rims for Arch KRGT-1.
Next up is the brand new Arch 1s. This is the first commercial motorcycle using a single gripper of the brand based in Los Angeles, USA. Similar to the KRGT-1, the Arch 1s also has a sporty design. However, compared to the KRGT-1, the Arch 1s has a less comfortable sitting position.
The engine of the Arch 1s was taken from the KRGT-1. Therefore, both KRGT-1 and Arch 1s meet Euro 4 emission standards. Besides, there are a series of carbon fiber details such as fuel tank and 7-spoke BST wheels.
