And, now Thor star Chris Hemsworth has forked out a reported $7 million acquiring Kooeloah, a Byron Bay retreat overlooking Seven Mile Beach where he and wife Elsa Pataky , daughter India and their twins Tristan and Sasha can escape.
The sprawling 4.2 hectare estate, which boasts three additional villas with eight bedrooms and eleven bathrooms in Broken Head, is the latest addition to the shrewd 31-year-old’s property portfolio.

According to the Property Observer, the Australian fell in love with the estate because of the privacy it affords – the dirt track leading up to it doesn’t even have a name.
Indeed, the Melbourne-born star was glimpsed in Byron Bay in recent days when he nipped into Yoflo for a tub of frozen yoghurt.

The Property Observer states that New South Wales-based architect Christine Vadasz designed the mansion with an Indonesian theme.
It was built by Ian Heanes for Suinee Wong Lomas, a retired film and television producer and Eric Lomas, a retired chief executive of Singapore’s Yellow River Network.
No doubt the actor is looking to secure a safe future through acquiring property for his family as his brood grows.

Actress Elsa, 38, and Chris began dating in early 2010 before tying the knot later that year in December.
Following the birth of Tristan and Sasha in March, Elsa said that she and her husband would probably not be adding to their brood.
‘(We) do not plan to have more children, but you can never say never,’ she told the Spanish edition Glamour magazine.
Meanwhile, the Rush star says he loves being a father telling Parade magazine last October ‘I think [parenthood] brings out the child in all of us.’
‘That’s what’s so beautiful. It reminds you of the fascination you had with things, and how you can spend hours just being with someone. It’s amazing.’
