Chris Pratt looked unrecognizable as he sported a wig and a handlebar mustache to film The Electric State with co-star Millie Bobby Brown in Columbus, Georgia on Wednesday.
The Jurassic World star, 43, transformed as he donned a tousled 70s style wig and a Han Solo-inspired ensemble of a white tee, black waistcoat, jeans and boots, while carrying a futuristic respirator during his first outing on the set.
The star, whose role in the film has not yet been revealed, looked in good spirits as he chatted with Millie, 18 on set.
Stranger Things star Millie opted for a 90s style outfit of a striped tee, with a purple sweater knotted around her waist, teamed with baggy jeans and a rucksack.
Her platinum tresses were pulled into a high updo and she sported smoky make-up while toting a fake machine gun.
Brown plays an orphaned teenager searching for her brother with help from a robot (Jason Alexander) in Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely’s big-screen adaptation of Simon Stålenhag’s 2017 graphic novel.
The pair were surrounded by cast members dressed in motion-capture suits and robot costumes as they filmed ethereal night-time scenes.
Filmmaking siblings Joe and Anthony Russo are directing The Electric State, which felt familiar for the Spanish-born, Florida-raised Brit having worked with the twins Matt and Ross Duffer on Netflix’s Stranger Things.
‘It’s so funny, now I’ve worked with two sets of brothers,’ Millie said in her Netflix Queue digital cover story on Tuesday.
‘They’re actually quite similar. One says yes to everything, and one’s a bit stricter. It’s a really good balance.’
But first, audiences can catch Brown producing and reprising the titular role in the Sherlock Holmes-inspired who-done-it sequel Enola Holmes 2, which premieres November 4 on Netflix.
‘Eleven in Stranger Things is so far beyond who I am, while Enola feels like I’m coming back to a place of normality and consistency,’ the SAG Award winner explained.
‘I’m able to really create her character organically…Of course, there are times when [director] Harry Bradbeer comes up to me and says, “Now, is that Millie or Enola?” And I go, “That’s Millie, let’s do it again!”‘
In the mag, Millie vented about ‘young women getting dragged down for many different things.’
‘If it’s our maturity, if it’s the way we dress, if it’s the things we say, if it’s the choices we make, we will never be enough,’ Brown lamented.
‘It’s for us to find camaraderie and sisterhood in that. And to stand together and say, “We are enough.” We have to stick together, breaking those stereotypes and standards.’
Meanwhile, Jake (born Jacob) will make his big-screen acting debut as Kellan in Jordan Weiss’ Thanksgiving college comedy Sweethearts alongside Kiernan Shipka.
But Bongiovi is best known as the nepotistically-privileged son of Grammy-winning Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi and his wife of 33 years, Dorothea Hurley.
