Michael Jordan memorabilia has always been a hot item for collectors and always will be as we continue to see record-breaking sales for Jordan items.
While the latest example isn’t a record-breaker, it is a cool piece of NBA history that involved Jordan.
Back in 1986, Jordan made his presence officially known in the NBA in just his second playoff game ever. Despite losing to Boston, Jordan dropped 63 points in Game 2 announcing his arrival. That game is a historic one in Jordan’s career and now part of a ticket stub from the game made someone a good chunk of money.
Per Darren Rovell, a nub from that game sold for $13,000 on eBay Sunday:
It’s not the full ticket as you see above, but the nub that was ripped off upon entrance. Still, it’s a cool piece of memorabilia, especially for those who collect tickets from big sporting events.
