During an interview, the Westworld star stated that the smooch she shared with Cruise was “Icky” and very uncomfortable during their shoot on the sets of Mission: Impossible 2. She said that despite what it may sound like, the reason for this bad experience was the technicality that was involved in the scene along with the mechanics of how to kiss on camera, and not because of the Top Gun star’s lack of skills. She said:
“It was slightly icky and sort of wet. Even when you’re kissing, you can’t kiss too hard because then your face sort of spreads across the other person and it looks terrible. It’s so clinical, you’re thinking more about whether or not you’re squashing him than kissing him,”
While her experience with Cruise might not have been that great, they did a great job in making the film an absolute hit at the box office with a collection of $546 Million.
