He’s carved a career out in Hollywood as a suave and rugged action hero.
But Jason Statham has shown a whole new side to his acting repertoire in a new but very surreal advert for LG’s new smartphone, the G5.
Swapping his suits and military fatigues for something slightly more feminine, the 48-year-old action man took the plunge in a stripy blouse as he took on a myriad of roles in the promo clip.
Obviously keen to show off his versatility as a thespian, the star of The Transporter series took on a number of roles in the action-packed advert for the tech-company’s new phone.
Crashing around from frame to frame, the Snatch actor’s bearded face can be seen imposed on a number of different bodies.
Hopping from being a busty brunette who catches the eye of some diners with her dancing, to a child being pushed in a pram – the thespian really does show he’s a man of MANY looks.

But while the face-swapping and body-hopping shenanigans may catch the viewers attention, there’s also plenty of actor’s trademark high-octane stunts to be seen.
Cutting to a bank heist, where Jason is – surprisingly – wearing a mask of his own face whilst holding up a room full of his clones, the London-born actor is able to show off his action man status.
And in another section Jason swoops past as motorcyclist on fire, before a female doppelganger puts out the flames as she stands astride two charging bulls.

Turning on each other: If that wasn’t enough action for the one-minute clip, the ad starts with exactly the same amount of gusto, as a fight breaks out between two disheveled Jason’s on the subway.

Clashing over the right to take a sneak-peak over Jason’s own shoulder his two lookalikes burst off of the train and onto the platform in a sword fight involving umbrellas.
Though the ad may seem slightly surreal, the face-swapping aspect is intended to promote the modular design of the new phone, which allows the user to turn the phone into a range of gadgets.
With an interchangeable battery and modular aspect, the phone offers users the chance to seamlessly switch between a plethora of functions – with ‘fun’ being the main focus of the phone.
