After posting pictures of himself playing for Manchester United’s youth team, Kai Rooney earned the moniker “future of Manchester United.”
Son of Old Trafford hero Wayne, the 13-year-old.
Kai Rooney has been branded the future of Man Utd.
Kai Rooney copied his father’s trademark control.
Kai is Wayne Rooney’s eldest son.
Fans think Rooney Jr., who plays for United’s Under-13 team, could be the next big thing.
Some even compared him to his father because he was seen performing one of his father’s distinctive chest controls.
The future, a supporter stated.
One more responded, “No DNA test required! Your father is Rooney! That chest control resembles Wazza so much.
“Keep going kid, United are waiting for you,” said a third.
Rooney played for the team for an amazing 13 years, winning five Premier League championships and one Champions League.
His son, who earlier this year won the Under-13s National Cup North trophy, is aspiring to follow in his footsteps.
In the next ten years, the eldest Rooney hopes to keep improving and join United’s first team.
“That’s where I see myself,” the young striker told The Mirror, “but I have to make it happen with the hard work and everything behind the scenes.”
He continued, “I know it’s boring, but probably my dad because he’s helped me through some of the tough times and taught me a lot about the game.
“Even just sitting in the car and listening to him talk to all the players as a manager.”
He is hoping to play for United in the next ten years.
