Czinger Vehicles Inc., commonly known as Czinger is a Los Angeles-based supercar manufacturer founded and established in 2019. They utilized AI and 3D printing to develop their first and currently only vehicle, the Czinger 21C, which is a hybrid supercar. Production of this cutting-edge American sports car began in 2021 and deliveries are expected to start this year. The powertrain of this mean beast is a 2.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine coupled with three electric motors, generating a combined output of 1,250 horsepower.
9 NIO Inc.
To meet the next entry on the list we’re flying from Los Angeles to Shanghai which is where NIO Inc., a Chinese multinational automaker is headquartered in. Founded in 1998, SSC North America is an automaker based in Richland, Washington, specializing in forging high-performance, limited-production supercars. The inception of the SSC Ultimate Aero, the brand’s first automobile happened in 2004. This one-of-a-kind beast came powered by a supercharged or twin-turbocharged V8 engine that churned out a maximum of 1,300 horses in its final form. Founded by Mate Rimac in 2009, Rimac Automobili is a Croatian automobile manufacturer who entered the speed arena back in 2013 by producing the Rimac Concept One, a 1,224-hp hypersonic electric supercar concept. Rimac introduced its first production electric hypercar, the Rimac Nevera in 2021 based on the same platform as the Pininfarina Battista and manufactured in the same factory with its production limited to 150 units. Aspark Co., Ltd. is a Japanese automotive company focused on providing engineering services for the automotive industry, specializing in electric cars. Aspark unveiled its first all-electric hypercar in 2017 at the Frankfurt Auto Show as a concept which then evolved into a production-spec model by 2020. This high-tech sports car built on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis is named Aspark Owl and is powered by a quad-motor electric powertrain. These four electric motors buzz in tandem to push out a staggering combined output of 1,984 horsepower.

Lotus Cars Limited isn’t a new or unknown carmaker to enthusiasts as they have created some of the best-driving supercars of the last few decades including the Lotus Elise, Exige Espirit, and Evora. However, the greatest feat achieved by this iconic carmaker is an electric hypercar they uncovered in 2019. The Lotus Evija is a tremendously capable sports car powered by four electric motors putting out an astounding 2,011 horsepower that is channeled to all four wheels. As of now, production of this Lotus tour de force is expected to start in 2023 itself.
