Yesterday there was a story going around suggesting Chelsea were keen on signing one of the biggest profile player in the world.
When you speak of some of the best around right now, you will mention your Lionel Messi’s and Kylian Mbappe’s, and many will also mention PSG’s Neymar.
And it is the latter player who has been linked with Chelsea this week, as seen here below…
Neymar doesn’t really seem like the kind of player or profile that Chelsea needs to be targeting right now though and I very much doubt they even are.
And former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy agrees with that and says Chelsea should not sign Neymar this summer, and even goes as far to say that there is a circus around the player, and he is also over rated.
In words picked up by Si & Dan Talk Chelsea today, when asked if Chelsea should sign Neymar, Cundy said: “No… There’s a reason why PSG are trying to sell him.
“He’s obviously a brilliant player, I think overrated, I don’t think he’s anywhere near the bracket of [Lionel] Messi.
“I don’t think he’s the type of person that Chelsea need right now.
“Neymar, there’s a circus around him. There’s only a handful of clubs that can afford him.
“He flatters to deceive. Since he left Barcelona he’s not won anything of note.”
