Tracy and Peter – A couple always wishes to have a big family, with beautiful children.
30, Tracy gave birth to her first child, Hunter, now 12, who was ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇᴅ naturally in October 2006. So, she was desperate for a second child but s.truggled to Cᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇ naturally. Tracy and her husband Peter, 42, from New York due to their busy careers, were ɴᴏᴛ in any ʀᴜsʜ to have another child. 10 year later however, they both started to realize the clock was ticking and they were desperate to have another child to keep Hunter company.
However, after trying for a year, they were told by their doctors that they couldn’t Cᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇ naturally and that ⒾⓋⒻ was their only option. In 2016, they tried four times through ⒾⓋⒻ for a baby, but none were successful, she decided to try sᴜʀʀᴏɢᴀᴄʏ, through an agency, to increase her chances. “I was desperate to have a baby and would do anything to make sure it happened,” Tracy told Today. What she didn’t expect was to more than double her family in size.
A few months later, she was delighted to discover that one of her ⒾⓋⒻ ᴛʀᴇᴀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛs worked and she was ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ with her second child, Harlow, now 18 months, who was born in August 2017. Meanwhile, her sᴜʀʀᴏɢᴀᴛᴇ was also ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ with not just one baby, but twins, which initially left Tracy and Peter ᴏᴠᴇʀᴡʜᴇʟᴍᴇᴅ, realising they had to make room for their big family. Just four months later, Tracy’s sᴜʀʀᴏɢᴀᴛᴇ gave birth to twins Piper and Presley. Only 13 weeks after the twins were born, the mom began to notice her stomach growing, and she soon found out she was ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ again!
“Things started to get real when I reached 20 weeks with baby number five,” the 43-year-old Manhattan mom told POPSUGAR. “My husband and I were still in sʜᴏᴄᴋ that we were about to have another child when we already had four at home, three of whom were under a year old.” But the growing family gladly welcomed baby number five. “When we found out I was ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ with Dylan, our youngest son and fifth child, we were ᴏᴠᴇʀᴡʜᴇʟᴍᴇᴅ with emotion. We always dreamed of a big family, but realizing we’d have four babies under 13 months old, and a tween, we were definitely nervous.”
Dylan was born early at 29 weeks and experienced some developmental delays, but despite his early arrival, Tracy says, “He’s doing great.” Now Tracy and Peter want to encourage people not to give up on their dreams to become parents and they share their journey with over 10,000 followers on Instagram. The proud mom of five believes it’s important to hold on to hope. “Never give up and have faith — just look at me! . . . Life is filled with beautiful surprises!”
