One Piece reveals Luffy’s father Dragon has a ruthless but effective strategy against the Celestial Dragon, and his attack has already begun.
One Piece finally explains the strategy Luffy’s father Dragon and his Revolutionary Army are using against the Celestial Dragons. The war of the Revolutionaries against the World Government seemed almost hopeless until now, but Dragon and his people are actually using a ruthless strategy that explains their recent attack on Mary Geoise and could actually give them a chance of winning.
In chapter #1083 of One Piece, Sabo returns to the headquarters of the Revolutionary Army with an incredible story to share with his commanding officers. Sabo survived the massacre in Lulusia, where he found refuge after being accused of the assassination of King Cobra of Alabasta, an event that occurred during the attack of the four Revolutionary Army Commanders on Mary Geoise. It was previously believed that their purpose was to free their captive comrade Kuma, but the attack actually had more objectives. One of these was destroying Mary Geoise’s food reserves, a cunning move that supports the Revolutionary Army’s strategy of attacking the World Government’s supply ships to stop resources from reaching the Holy Land of the Celestial Dragons.
The Revolutionary Army Is Laying Siege To Mary Geoise
Mary Geoise is the seat of the World Government and the sacred land where all the Celestial Dragons reside. For these reasons, Mary Geoise is located at the top of the Red Line, the only continent in the world of One Piece, making it an almost impenetrable fortress. The Holy Land is also defended by the strongest warriors available to the World Government, such as the Marine Admirals and the newly-revealed group called God’s Knights. As the ultimate purpose of the Revolutionary Army founded by Dragon is to destroy the World Government, taking down Mary Geoise is a necessary step. Until now, it seemed that the Revolutionaries had no chance of winning an open confrontation, and they only focused on creating unrest and revolts in the countries under the World Government’s yoke.
However, chapter #1083 reveals that the Revolutionaries actually have a viable strategy that could help them succeed in their monumental task. Mary Geoise’s isolated position on top of the Red Line can also be its major weakness. Supplies, including food, need to be delivered from faraway islands, meaning that if the Revolutionary Army manages to disrupt these routes, the Celestial Dragons could end up starving. To achieve that, however, it was fundamental to destroy Mary Geoise’s food reserves, which Sabo and the Commanders did in their attack during the Levely. According to Ivankov’s words, the Celestial Dragons are essentially under siege now, which is an incredible result for the Revolutionaries.
Dragon’s Strategy Could Bring Down The World Government
The attack of the Commanders on Mary Geoise seemed very reckless, but this chapter explains that it was actually part of a precise strategy. It served as an official declaration of war against the Celestial Dragons, meaning that the Revolutionary Army is no longer limiting itself to instigating revolts in remote kingdoms. Despite the apparent disparity in power and resources between the two factions, Dragon’s Revolutionary Army actually has a ruthless but effective strategy that could lead to the downfall of the Celestial Dragons, who consider themselves the gods of the One Piece world.
