For most, having a big family isn’t within their plans for practical reasons; but this certainly does not apply to Kansas native Britni Church, a mother-of-12.
Britni never imagined having such a large family, but once she started welcoming children she loved the constant company that having a big family provided.
The mum from Arkansas City, Kansas, had her first child, Crizman, 15, six days after her sixteenth birthday with her ex-husband back in 2004.
The pair had married five days before, and went on to have another four children together: Jordan, 14, Caleb, 13, Jace, 12 and Cadence, ten.
When the couple broke up in 2010, Britni enjoyed being single and spent her weekends partying, unexpectedly falling pregnant with her sixth child, Jesalyn, now eight, in 2012.
She spent three years raising her children alone as a single parent before meeting husband, Chris, a sub-contractor, at work in 2014.
The couple had their first son together, Silas, five, in summer 2015, a year after meeting, before Britni gave birth to son Christopher, three, in 2016 and surprise triplets Oliver, Asher and Abel, one, in June of last year.
When Britni quit her factory job, she fell pregnant with her 12th baby – and announced after the baby’s arrival that the family was going through 600 nappies a week.
Britni Church, 33, has to buy food, nappies, and clothing for her enormous brood, which can cost a fortune.
But the supermum, who has 1.8 million followers on TikTok, says she doesn’t have to worry about money as sharing updates about her busy family life helps her rake in the cash, The Sun reports.
As well as a massive TikTok following, Britney also has 116,000 Instagram followers.
A mum-of-twelve has revealed her least favourite question – and it is one she gets asked “all the time”.
Kansas mum Britni Church said people always want to know if her older children are expected to help out with their younger siblings, or whether she makes an effort to not to treat them as fill-in parents when she is busy.
