A mother became famous on the web after doing a pregnancy test with 20,000 bees; unfortunately, she ended up losing the baby she was expecting. Now that she’s pregnant again, she’s decided to do an even more daring maternity shoot.
Emily Mueller, 34 years old, from Akron, Ohio, in the United States, posed this time all painted in gold and with about 16 thousand bees around her head! Her idea was to dress up as Cleopatra with the bees. In addition, she also did a maternity shoot holding a snake!
In her previous pregnancy, Emily’s son was sᴛɪʟʟʙᴏʀɴ due to ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴs from a ᴛʜʀᴏᴍʙᴏsɪs she had during pregnancy. The photo shoot with the bees had nothing to do with the little one’s passing.
Emily and her husband Ryan are beekeepers, and this child they are expecting is the last one they intend to have. In addition to the little one they ʟᴏsᴛ and what they are waiting for, they are also the parents of three other children.
The beekeeper became pregnant again just three months after her son was sᴛɪʟʟʙᴏʀɴ. “We wanted to do this new experiment with bees as well to honor the memory of the son we ʟᴏsᴛ. I loved the photos. This period of the new pregnancy has been difficult, full of emotions and fears. In my other pregnancy, I ended up discovering how fragile life can be, so I’ve been feeling a lot of fear in this pregnancy,” said the mother in an interview with the North American magazine People.
When talking about her even more daring shoot this pregnancy, Emily said, “I didn’t want to do something the same as the other pregnancy; I wanted even more unique photos. I wanted to represent the miracle of a woman’s body producing a child. I chose to dress up as Cleopatra because I wanted to be a symbolic queen of the bees.”
During rehearsal, Emily was stung in the eye, but she’s okay.
