Never skip leg day. That certainly seems to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s motto since he joined Al Nassr.
It’s no secret Ronaldo has always prided himself in maintaining an incredible physique and practising an intense fitness regime – but he seems to have become more muscular than ever before.
Uploading snaps of him training with the club he’s been at since the turn of the year on Instagram, the Portugal captain’s leg muscles are on full display as he practices heading the ball.
His quads are flexed as he leaps to head the ball, and a second angle shows his bulging hamstring muscles.
After complaining about the outdated training facilities at Manr United in his interview with Piers Morgan in November, Ronaldo seems to have taken full advantage of his new club’s gym.
Just before his Al Nassr debut following his explosive exit from Manchester United, the centre-forward had posted a picture of him in the gym, working on his legs.
Uploading a photo of him using a cable machine to add extra weight to his step ups, the star wrote: “Make every work out count.”
And it his work has paid off, judging off his most recent snaps.
It’s easy to forget he’s 38 years old.
Since signing for Al Nassr, Ronaldo has scored five goals in the Saudi Pro League so far.
Four of those goals came in his side’s 4-0 victory over Al Wehda last Thursday.
