The one-minute-30-second-long trailer promises more high-octane action with Reeves’s trigger-happy hero fighting his way through more rival assassins to freedom. Beginning with a radio jockey playing a song dedicated to ‘Mr Wick’, the trailer shows Winston Scott (Ian McShane) advising Wick to challenge Marquis de Gramont to single combat. John travels to various places — from neon-lit nightclubs to riding a horse in a desert to the streets of Paris, all the while fighting numerous adversaries. We are also introduced to a new female assassin along the way and meet yet another new dog at the very end of the clip.
With fight scenes ranging from indoor katana duels to gunfight car chases in front of the Arc de Triomphe, the upcoming film promises to be the grandest instalment of the franchise yet.
John Wick: Chapter 4 will hit the theatres on March 24.
