The actor would have strangled one of the children, hit another in the face and spilled alcoholic beverages on the family during a fight on a plane
Angelina Jolie claimed in a lawsuit filed on Tuesday (4) against Brad Pitt that her ex-husband would have assaulted her and the couple’s children during a flight between France and the US in 2016.
Documents obtained by the New York Times say that Pitt would have tried to strangle one of the children and hit the face of another. He is also accused by Jolie of grabbing her by the hair and shaking her. After all that, the actor would still have poured wine on the children and beer on them and the actress.
The revelations came amid a legal fight over a winery the couple bought while they were together. Pitt sued Jolie for having sold her share of the business in October 2021 to an international conglomerate led by a Russian businessman.
The actress’s lawyers argue that she tried to sell her stake to her ex-husband. However, the negotiations would have been canceled after being conditioned to the signing of a confidentiality agreement regarding the abuse suffered by her and the children at the hands of the actor.

The FBI even investigated the incident that occurred in 2016 during the flight. A censored version of the report was released in August 2022, in which the officer in charge of the inquiry reported probable cause for the actor to be indicted. However, the federal prosecutor preferred not to make formal charges.
