The Kardashians are back with even more drama! In the (second) season 3 trailer that dropped today, the first reality television family pursues several issues head-on, challenging the sisters and Kris. This may be the juiciest season yet, but it hasn’t even begun.
One of the central pivot points in the trailer is the bitter confrontation between Kim and Kourtney. Kourtney is “livid” at her younger sister for “using her [Portofino] wedding as a business opportunity.”
The SKIMS founder confessed she’s “really confused on how this narrative came into her head,” but Kourtney knows precisely who her sister is, and “it’s who she is to her core.”
Both sisters have a relationship with the fashion house Dolce and Gabbana. Kourtney had the Italian designers create an unforgettable wedding wardrobe, including the intricate wedding veil stitched with the Virgin Mary for when she tied the knot with Travis Barker last May.
Kim is the current spokeswoman for Dolce and Gabbana and could be seen walking the catwalk in a form-fitting dress in the trailer. In February, the KUWTK alum starred in the 2023 Spring-Summer campaign for the brand, revealing her sensual side.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner shared their perspectives on the situation, with Kylie saying that she “sees both sides.”
And poor mom Kris is just trying to hold her family together.
On top of the Kim and Kourtney feud, Kim takes a moment to discuss her divorce finalization from Kanye West. The proceedings left the entire family in a whirlwind, so to speak, and Kim must be the backbone for her children, “protecting them from all the lies.”
Meanwhile, Khloe is going through a difficult journey in the third season. In the trailer, the Good American founder undergoes surgery to remove a cancerous tumor on her face, then a full body scan for more detection.
“This is way more serious than I anticipated it to be,” Khloe says in the confessional regarding her health scare. Not too long ago, the mom of two took a moment on Instagram to discuss her bandage but confirmed that she was “totally okay.”
If any “good” arises from the drama, Kylie opens up about the beauty standards her family sets for themselves and the public. If anything, she wants her daughter Stormi to accept who she is and not “do the things that Kylie did,” albeit the Kylie Cosmetics founder denied having done any plastic surgery, according to her article in this month’s edition of Hommegirls.
Through the eye of the storm(s), the Kardashian-Jenner family rebounded, and their relationships strengthened. But will they be able to do so this time around?
As Kylie mentioned at the end of the trailer
“I just don’t think everything’s gonna be okay.”
The Kardashians return for season 3 on May 25th on Hulu.
