Will Taylor Swift be skipping Brisbane when she brings her Eras Tour to Australia?
Music industry insiders are convinced Swift will only have a short run of dates when she tours Down Under early next year, reports the Courier Mail.
The Anti-Hero singer, 33, could potentially only play two east coast cities, Sydney and Melbourne, before moving on to New Zealand.
Brisbane ‘Swifties’ may have to fly south to watch their idol perform her epic three-hour show spanning 44 songs from her catalogue.
While it’s not uncommon for major international artists to skip the west coast due to time or travel restraints, it would be rare for someone of Swift’s status to skip Queensland entirely.

While Australian promoter Live Nation has yet to confirm dates for The Eras Tour, it is believed Swift will perform at the MCG in Melbourne and Accor Stadium in Sydney.
The superstar will hit Sydney in January before heading to Melbourne the following month, according to sources at multiple venues and ticketing agency Ticketek.
The Shake It Off star is expected to play at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, which has a capacity of 100,000. If she sells out the venue, which she almost certainly will, it will be one of the biggest shows of her career, reports the Shameless podcast.
It is unclear when tickets for her Australian and New Zealand tour will go on sale, but Ticketek has set up a waitlist on its website.

‘We’ve spoken to another well-placed source at the MCG who said dates have been booked in for February,’ Shameless host Zara McDonald said on TikTok in March.
‘It sounds like it will either be late February or early March and Taylor has looked at what Ed Sheeran did with his dates and saw the audience approval was really high and they really enjoyed it and she’s doing the same thing in 2024.
‘So keep your eye out for dates, it looks like she’s coming to us.’
Industry sources shared further details about the Australian tour during a Q&A on Shameless’ Instagram Stories.
‘January for Sydney! Best worst-kept secret in the industry,’ one follower claimed.
‘Know someone who works for Ticketek, tickets on sale end of April,’ another said.
One follower noted Taylor often tours in December, but the Shameless team said it will more likely be in early 2024, before the start of the AFL and NRL seasons.
