Manchester United striker showed off his inking after scoring in the 5-1 thumping of Cardiff.
MARCUS RASHFORD showed off his latest inking after scoring in Manchester United’s 5-1 rout of Cardiff.
The Red Devils speedster lifted up his shirt after being substituted to reveal a huge picture of a young boy playing football.
His artwork sees the footie-mad youngster kicking a ball around outside some terraced houses. Rashford, 21, has not spoken about the meaning of his tattoo but it could be a nod to his first experiences of the growing game.
United’s players certainly looked like they had rediscovered the joy of football as they secured a resounding win under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. After months of dire performances, the superstars decided to put a shift in and ran all over the promoted Bluebirds.
Rashford’s inking mirrors Manchester City rival Gabriel Jesus, who has his old neighbourhood on his arm.
He said previously: “I have four and all of them represent me a little bit. One is for faith, the other ones are one of Jardim Peri, where I was born and grew up with the dream of being a football player.”
“The other completes the image of the neighbour of my childhood. The last one is the quote of my mom. I intend to have more tattoos about my career in the future.”
