You have certainly experienced the situation. Whether as the annoyed co-passenger plagued by screaming babies on a long flight or the distraught parent desperately trying to calm your child down
A mother of young children is now being praised on social media for how she solved the problem on a 10-hour flight between Seoul, South Korea, and San Francisco, California, in the USA.
The mother was fully aware of the problem; it is extremely difficult to avoid a baby having a few bouts of crying within ten hours.
She had therefore brought something with her that would appease the fellow passengers and put a damper on the irritation her crying baby was likely to cause. Now thousands of people are sharing her sweet gesture.
She must have taken a lot of care before the flight. The mother who flew between South Korea and the United States
Dagens writes that she had chosen to wrap 200 small gift bags, which she handed out to all the passengers. The bags contained earplugs and a small note. On it, it was written:
“Hello. I’m Junwoo, and I’m 4 months old. Today I am going to the US with my mom and grandmom to see my aunt. I’m a little bit nervous and scary, because it’s my first flight in my life, which means that I may cry or make too much noise,” reads the message before continuing:
“I will try to go quietly, though I can’t make any promises. Please excuse me. So my mom prepared little goodie bag for you! It has some candies and earplugs. Please use it when it’s too much noisy because of me. Enjoy your trip. Thank you.”
Now the mother of young children is being praised on social media for her nice gesture, and on top of everything else? The baby was calm throughout the flight!
Fellow passenger Dave Corona chose to share the story on Facebook, and he can say that all the passengers appreciated the nice gesture and that the 4-month-old baby did not cry during the flight.
“A very touching gesture by the mother but as you know when you have kids expect the unexpected. Not a peep out of the kid,” writes Corona on Facebook.
