Greg Norman’s son wants to team up with his dad to face off against legendary golfer Tiger Woods and his teenage son Charlie.
Norman Jr took to X float the idea that, he believes, would really go some ways in building bridges in the world of men’s professional golf.
He suggested the duo could be paired alongside the 15-time major champ and his son at next week’s exhibition in Florida.
The former world number one will make his long-awaited return from injury at next week’s PNC Championship.
Woods, who turns 49 years old later this month, has not played since missing the cut at The Open at Royal Troon and having more surgery on his back.
The hit-and-giggle PGA Tour event sees current and former professional golfers playing with a parent or child.
“If they really wanted to shake things up and cause a buzz, they should have invited us to the PNC and paired us with Tiger and Charlie,” Norman Jr wrote on X.
“Mend the fences. Show unity. Mic us up. Have some fun.
“Celebrate family and the game right?”
Tiger WoodsThe field for the PNC Championship field has been finalised now after Tiger and Charlie officially committed earlier in the week, so it’s more than unlikely that it could happen.
But in the future?
Who knows.
Norman Jr’s ‘fun marketing idea’ was met with a mixed response.
One pointed out that the PGA Tour are not even hyping up next week’s Showdown that will feature LIV’s Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka playing against Rory McIlroy and newly-crowned player of the year Scottie Scheffler.
Another pointed out that Woods does not care for The Shark at all given what has transpired in the men’s game since LIV Golf launched in 2022.
Woods called for Norman to quit as the breakaway tour’s commissioner in November that year.
He suggested Norman’s exit would make it easier to end the golf wars.

Here’s some comments:
“Love the idea but there is not a person at the Tour (Anymore? LOL) that would have the stones to even suggest that in a bathroom conversation much less a legitimate meeting.”
“That would be awesome! Who would win? Greg Snr is in better physical shape than Tiger.”
“That would be epic.”
“I’d watch this.” “Lamest take ever.” “Isn’t LIV the ones that wanted to cause a buzz?” “I don’t think the PGA Tour and/or Tiger want this sort of pragmatic approach to a future partnership.” “Just in case you are unaware; Tiger, like many, can’t stand your father. You actually think PNC will risk pissing off Tiger and provide an opportunity for your father to create a spectacle?”
